For franchise groups

Which locations does the social actually move?

Fifty sites posting to fifty local accounts, and one question at head office: is any of it selling anything, and where. Numal reads each location's own POS and reports per site, with the group total built from the parts rather than assumed.

A group average hides the thing you're looking for

Two sites carry the campaign, thirty do nothing measurable, and the rolled-up number looks like a modest success. The average is the enemy here: it's the reason a format that works in one town gets rolled out to forty and quietly dies.

Numal builds a baseline per location, because a Tuesday in one town is not a Tuesday in another. Each site is judged against itself, and the group view is the sum of those judgments rather than a single line drawn through all of them.

What the rollout looks like

Week 1Two or three sites connect, chosen to be unalike — a strong one, a weak one, a new one.
Weeks 1–3Baselines build in parallel. Fourteen days per location, not fourteen days each in sequence.
Week 4First reports. This is the meeting where you decide whether the method survives contact with your business.
ThenThe rest of the estate, in batches. Each new site waits its own fourteen days before it produces a number.
Say the fourteen days out loud to the board before you start. Every group that has been annoyed by the wait was told about it and forgot; nobody who repeated it at kickoff has minded.

Questions people actually ask

We run a mix of POS systems across the estate. Is that a problem?

No, and it's the usual case after an acquisition. Each location connects whatever it runs; the differences between systems are listed on the POS pages, and where one gives less — new versus returning on SumUp, for instance — the report says so rather than quietly filling the gap.

Can franchisees see each other's numbers?

No. A franchisee sees their own location. Head office sees the rollup and the sites it has access to. Nothing crosses sideways.

What does it cost?

Network is quoted per group rather than listed, starting at $1,400 a month, because the support is done by hand. Tell us the shape of the estate and we'll come back with a number rather than a discovery call.

Do you replace our BI reporting?

No. Export and the API exist so the attributed figures sit alongside everything else you already measure.

Start with three locations

Enough to see whether the method holds across sites that don't look alike. Small enough that nobody has to defend it yet.
