Refund Policy

The rule that matters most: we don't charge until a first real report exists, because a baseline takes two weeks and you can't judge this product before you've seen one.

Last updated September 14, 2026

The trial comes first

Fourteen days, no card. We ask for payment details when the trial ends, not at sign-up.

And if no report exists yet, the trial doesn't end. Numal watches two quiet weeks to learn a business's rhythm before it credits anything to a post. If that baseline hasn't finished, or a point of sale never got approved, the trial extends until you've seen a first real report. You can't sensibly judge this product before then, so we don't ask you to pay before then either.

Monthly plans

Cancel whenever you like, from settings, without writing to anyone. Access runs to the end of the period you've already paid for — we don't cut you off the moment you cancel.

We don't refund part-months as a rule. The exception is your first paid invoice: if you cancel within 14 days of it, write to billing@numal.ai and we'll refund it in full, no reason needed.

Quarterly and annual plans

Cancel within 30 days of the charge and we refund the whole thing.

After that, we refund the unused whole months, minus the discount you'd already taken. For example: an annual plan at 20% off, canceled after five months, refunds seven months at the monthly rate rather than seven twelfths of the discounted year. You keep the benefit of the months you used at the price you actually paid for them.

Annual renewals get an email before they're charged, never after.

When we refund without being asked

  • We charged the wrong amount, charged twice, or kept charging after a cancellation. Refunded in full, and we go looking for anyone else the same bug hit.
  • A connection we said was live wasn't. If a point of sale silently stopped reporting and a month's figures are wrong because of it, that month is on us.
  • Sustained outage. If the product is unusable for more than 48 hours in a month, tell us and we'll credit or refund that month at your choice.
  • We discontinue the product. 90 days' notice and everything prepaid comes back.

What isn't refundable

We'd rather be clear than generous-sounding and vague.

  • Months where the reports were produced and delivered, even if the numbers disappointed you. Numal reports what the POS says; a month where posts returned nothing is a real result, not a fault.
  • Time lost because a client never approved access. We can't make them approve it — but see the trial clause above: you won't have been charged yet.
  • A platform breaking its own API and cutting off post data, where we restore service within the outage window.
  • Network plans mid-term, where a separate order form sets its own cancellation terms. Those terms win over this page.

How to ask

Email billing@numal.ai from the address on the account. Tell us which invoice and roughly what happened — you don't need to build a case.

  • We reply within one business day.
  • Approved refunds are issued within three business days and reach your card in a further five to ten, depending on your bank.
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method. If it's closed, we'll arrange a transfer.
  • If we say no, we'll say why in the same email, and you can reply to a person about it.

Please write to us before opening a chargeback. A chargeback freezes the account until the bank decides, which takes weeks and helps nobody — and every refund case we've seen so far was faster settled by email.

Price changes

If we raise prices, your existing subscription keeps its rate until the next renewal, and you get at least 30 days' notice before that renewal. If the new price doesn't work for you, cancel before it takes effect and nothing changes hands.

We don't run different prices for different customers on the same plan, and we don't discount to stop someone leaving. If a lower price would have been fair, it should have been the price.
