Cookie settings

Two kinds, and no advertising.

There is no ad network on this site and nothing sold to a data broker. What there is, is measurement — two tools that tell us which pages get read and where sign-up breaks. That is the one real decision, and it's the switch below.

Strictly necessary Keeps you signed in, remembers the choice you make on this page, and blocks cross-site request forgery. Without these the product cannot hold a session, so they can't be switched off.
Product analytics Google Analytics tells us which pages get read and where sign-up breaks. Microsoft Clarity records the visit so we can watch where a page confused someone. Neither is used for advertising, and neither is joined to your account data.

What each cookie is

NameSet byPurposeTypeLife
_ga, _ga_*Google AnalyticsTells one visit from another, and a returning visitor from a new oneOptional2 years
_clck, _clskMicrosoft ClarityTies the pages of one visit into a single recordingOptional1 year, 1 day
numal.cookiesnumal.aiRemembers the choice you make on this pageNecessaryUntil cleared
numal.attribution.first, .lastnumal.aiBrowser storage, not a cookie: which social account a visit arrived from, so a signup can be credited to itNecessaryUntil cleared, and the visit

Turn analytics off and, from the next page you open, Google's tag is switched off before it measures anything and Microsoft's script is not loaded at all — there is no fallback that measures you another way, and no device fingerprinting. What stays is the record of your choice and the note of which link brought you here.

Once the product has accounts it will also set a session cookie and a CSRF token, both strictly necessary. Neither exists yet, so neither is listed above.

What we don't run

  • No advertising or retargeting pixels. Not Meta, not Google Ads, not LinkedIn, not TikTok.
  • No cross-site tracking and no data sold or shared for behavioral advertising. Under the CCPA, that means there is no sale or share to opt out of — the switch above is still yours.
  • No keystroke logging. Clarity's recording shows how a page was used — scrolling, clicks, where a cursor stalled. Form fields are masked, so what you type into one is not recorded.
  • No advertising audiences. Nothing measured here is exported to Google Ads or to any other ad platform.
Why this is short: two tools, no ad network, and nothing to list on anyone else's behalf.

Changing your mind

Come back to this page at any time — it's linked from the footer of every page — and move the switch. Saving reloads the page, which is what makes the change immediate: the tags are decided before anything else loads, so a reload is how a refusal takes hold on this device and browser.

You can also clear cookies in your browser settings, which resets everything including the record of this choice. If you do that, you'll be asked again.

Because the choice is stored in a cookie on the device, it doesn't follow you to a different browser or a different machine. That's a limitation of how consent works without an account, not an attempt to re-ask you.

Browser signals

We honor Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, analytics is off without you touching anything here — Google's tag is switched off and Clarity is not loaded — and the switch above shows it off and stays fixed.
